Malaysian Visa

Malaysian tourist visa for Indian passport holders is not on arrival, so every Indian must apply for a visa before planning for a trip to Malaysia. Malaysian visas are issued either from Malaysian consulates in various parts of India or Embassy in Delhi. Embassy or Consulates decide the eligibility of the traveler for a visa. Malaysian visas are normally stamped in the passports and gives a validity of minimum one year. Job visas are also stamped from Malaysian Embassy provided the sealed call letter from the concerned company is produced. The normal requirements to apply a tourist visa are below.
 

Malaysian Visa Requirements:

  • Passport with minimum 6 months validity.
  • White background photos 3.5 X 4.5 c.m.
  • If passport has no visas or no foreign journey done original bank statement with minimum balance of 40k (bank manager seal and sign on it)
  • If working, Company id card Xerox and last month pay slip copy.
  • If passport is not from Andhra, Karnataka, Kerala or Tamil Nadu, address proof of any Southern state. Address proof can be a letter from his company, or rental deed copy, etc.
  • If husband and wife travelling, and husband name is not there in wife passport, marriage certificate copy should be produced.
  • If a minor, below 18yrs is travelling, no objection letter from his/her father should be produced.
  • If uneducated and signed in the passport in local language, invitation letter or exact reason of visit should be mentioned.
  • If a lady is travelling alone, invitation letter or working details, or purpose of visit should be produced.
